XStorage database is a collection of terms. XStorage terms are complex terms, which allows to support complexity of the XML nodes.
Inside XStorage database, the terms are stored in chains. A chain can contain any number of terms, and XStorage database can contain any number of chains.
XStorage API allows access to the individual chains (click here for more information).
Each chain stores XML structure for the XDocument. Individual elements of the XDocument can be accessed via API.
