XML Laboratory is an application, which uses XStorage and XDocument API for processing of non-XML data. This application demonstrates XML conversion engine possibilities and some features of XStorage engine.
XML Laboratory bridges a gap between vast amount of non-XML semi-structured data and new open source document file format - XML.
This application demonstrates various possibilities, which programmer can rely on, when dealing with non-XML data sources.
Software is build upon various text parsers which can be supplied separately for integration into customer application.
XML Laboratory has the following text parsers:
- parser for fixed width text
- parser for comma-delimited text
- parser for text files with TOC (created from Winword via Save As...)
- parser for HTML files
- parser for RTF files
XML Laboratory provides convenient interface for viewing source files and corresponding results of XML conversion.
You will need to have XMLMATE installed to view or edit conversion results .
- Convert text into XML
- Add document to XStorage
- Open document from XStorage
XML Laboratory has configuration parameters which controls creation of XML data.
