VP Studio Shell -
Visual Development Environment
for Prolog programmers

EZY Prolog -
easy way to write prolog program

Visual Prolog has powerful development environment, which allows design and programming of user interfaces with any level of complexity.

It also comes with set of tools, which simplifies creation and management of various graphical objects (controls - buttons, toolbars, lists, text entry and various custom controls).

However, programming of these tools always requires manual work. In addition to that, Visual Prolog Development Environment (VDE) doesn't provide users with visualization of custom controls on design stage.

Note: to compile program you will need VP Studio Shell sources installed.

Final application compiled by Visual Prolog (or VP Studio Shell) has the following shape, which is quite different from what programmer sees during design of the GUI interface:

To create such application using Visual Prolog is quite easy task.... for experienced user.

As for beginners... Usually beginners are given sample projects with sources for exploration and by spending couple of hours with project users usually are capable to make a decision how the custom tool works and how to include it into your application.

VP Studio shell was designed with the goal to provide programmers with identical visual environment as leading software development environments, such as Visual Basic, Delphi.

The development of such shell was a result of experimenting with various programming objects and styles using Visual Prolog and now it accumulate all in one.

This demo program was created from scratch in couple of minutes because VP Studio Shell provides all necessary templates for inserted objects and their properties.
