Ribless Programming For Motorola GM300/M120, GM338 Series Mobile Radios
This cable with the appropriate software (software IS NOT SUPPLIED by us) will program the Motorola Gm300/M120, GM338 Series Mobile Radios.
The unit requires 12 volts dc from a plug pack (not supplied). The interface has a DB9 Serial connector for connection to your P.C. and a RJ45 for connection into the front microphone socket of the Radio. We recommend a regulated plug pack be used for best results.
In an emergency you could power the unit with a 9 volt battery wired into the appropriate 2.5mm dc socket, however we do not recommend you do this on a regular basis as you may end up corrupting the codeplug in your radio should the battery voltage drop down.
A Motorola RIB Box IS NOT required for this interface to work
