I think the soldiers of South Vietnam, they were war heroes because they didn’t surrender to the North Vietnam soldiers, they fought out the battle to the end. On the 30^th of April 1975, when the South Vietnamese government was taken over by the north, the south soldiers still fought. I remember three air force men, they stood in the street near the gate into Saigon city. They waited for the tanks from the North soldiers who were coming down the road. They were shooting with machine guns. After that they died. They sacrificed their lives for our country. Everybody still misses them because they fought for freedom for the people.
