Apart from learning English I do cleaning in
my house, wash my clothes and iron them. On Friday evenings I am learning
to drive a car and now I participate in the Argentinean Country Club
organisation committee that organises parties with many things to do.
When I went to the English class the first time, I was very nervous because I didn’t understand anything. The first time I went learning English at the end of the year in November 1997, the other people were more advanced than me. The next year I continued learning English in AMES Footscray and I couldn’t speak, I felt embarrassed. Sometimes the teacher made a group for conversation practice. I was very angry and sometimes when other people spoke I would be quiet and look and listen to the other people speaking. But now I understand and I am speaking English and I write a little more. |
