I went to Melbourne Museum with my teachers and school friends from
Flemington Reading and Writing program.
We liked the museum because there were lots of things to see. We saw a
skeleton from a whole whale and it was so huge.
We saw a horse there that our teacher told was called Phar Lap. He is
an Australian icon because he won many many races in the 1930’s and died
in America.
We also saw some aboriginal films about the way they want to live in
their country; this was really good to see.
We saw some animals like a dog, but it had stripes; it was called a
Tasmanian Tiger and it is extinct which is bad.
We also saw many interesting things in the museum and we had good time
there and I want to thank you for taking us.
