My hero is my mum. When she was a little girl her
parents died, so she lived with her brother.
When she was sixteen years old she was married to my father, and now
she is seventy-three years old and she has had eleven children, eight boys
and three girls.
My mum always helps other people and she is a very happy woman. Back in
Vietnam she had her own business and she also looked after her family so
well at the same time. She is a real hero for all the time and things she
has given to her family and friends.
Another of my heroes is Doctor Chang. He was a very special heart
surgeon. He taught many students in the hospital, and he helped the people
who had heart problems. He talked and said don’t worry, because he
thought he was a good doctor and he was 90% successful in operations for
the people, his patients, are still alive.
In 1992 he went home and on the way, one young man took a gun and
killed him on the street in Sydney. When he died, a lot of people cried
and were very upset, but I don’t understand why he killed him. I think
Doctor Chang is a hero and the top doctor in the world. I will remember
him.
