Cathy Freeman is a young aboriginal woman who won a gold medal, which was one among fifty-eight medals Australian athletes won at the Olympics in Sydney 2000.

The thing we most admire about her is even though she has won a gold medal in running, she seems like it's just good luck with her. She isn't arrogant about all the hard work and success.

Individually, I suppose Cathy Freeman is a person that makes the Australian people who used to look down on Australian aboriginal people, change the way they look at them now because of her achievements. They should know that no matter who you are you have the chance to be competitive and everyone is equal.

We admire her as an athlete as well for being a good human being, and she is a real heroine and I think she deserves the name, hero.
