Sydney Thistle Highland Pipe Band

Sydney Thistle has the unique distinction of having participated in the Victory March of 1918 and every Anzac Day march since then. The band has been officially judged the premier Pipe Band of the Anzac Day march on several occasions.


Throughout its history Sydney Thistle has successfully competed against other bands, holding both State and National titles. It has always had within its ranks champion pipers and drummers.


Just as importantly, the band regularly plays at a range of other public and private events such as street parades, club shows, balls, sporting events, weddings and commercial promotions. Events in which the Band can participate are limited only by your imagination!:
