Onkaparinga City Choral Society Inc
is an organization committed to its members and the community.

Community service through singing.

Objectives

OCCS:

  • Provides training in the arts of choral singing, music performance and stagecraft.

  • Fosters interest in the performing arts, particularly among the young people of the community.

  • Provides opportunities for young and novice performers to gain stage experience.

  • Aims to become recognised as the "Official Choir" of the City of Onkaparinga and participate in all civic functions where appropriate (receptions, Australia Day celebrations, citizenship ceremonies etc).

Activities

For the community we perform:

  • At local concerts
  • At community carol nights
  • In aged care homes
  • In retirement villages
  • In care centres for the disabled.
