Melting Moments

Mamre College's resident beautician Caroline Sweetness has made a break-through that should take years off a woman's age.

It has long been known that mud packs applied before sleeping have a beneficial effect – on the face, if not on one's partner – but Caroline suggests melting a block of chocolate in a saucepan and packing that on to the face instead.

Here comes the innovation.

When the chocolate has set hard allow your dog to lick it off.

Not only will the licking action smooth away those tired wrinkles and laughter lines, it will bring you and your dog closer together.

Because it's quicker than leaving the mud pack on overnight it can also be done before your partner sees you. Caroline claims that because of this her treatment will save marriages.

If you need a quick fix before going out on a date you can hold your head in the fridge to speed up the setting process.

Caroline cautions that you should use only a well-fed, well-mannered dog. Hungry dogs, or dogs that habitually wolf down their food may leave more lines than they remove.
