While all the yarns on this web site have been my own work I felt there was room to share a few favourite verses written by other people.
Their common factor is that the writer has done something clever with them—either in finding an unusual rhyme or in their visual presentation.
Where possible I've indicated the author's name but most of them have just accumulated over the years. I'm indebted to English comedian Cyril Fletcher's collection Terse Verse for some of them.
I hope you enjoy them too.
