It's expensive living with a woman like Daizy. When we danced at the annual Urunga Dip & Dive Weekend we discovered that our motel was right on the highway with only a hedge between our room and the passing traffic. That first night every semi-trailer in Australia roared past and since Daizy is a light sleeper she didn't get much sleep.

Next morning I spent $95 to buy her a pair of ear plugs.

Oh, the ear plugs weren't that expensive, but the shop where we bought them had so many unusual gift ideas that she bought a few Christmas presents as well. Life with Daizy is like that.

So it was no wonder that when we went to dance with Brian Hotchkies at Gosford last month I didn't have much money in my pocket.

Brian announced the Central Coast Combined Clubs' Christmas Celebration (how's that for alliteration?) and I asked Lorraine Harvey much it would cost. She said, "Thirty dollars each, including dinner."

I looked in my wallet and found it had been Daizied so I said, "I'll have to Email you a cheque."

No problem," she said. "I'll Email you the dinner."

She's quick.

Then I got to thinking and realised there was a marketing opportunity here. Email dinners have absolutely no calories and will be a boon for dieters. They may become the new face of anorexia and Review subscribers have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor.

How would you like to have a sumptuous Christmas dinner this year completely calorie free?

Eat virtual food.   It takes no time to prepare and requires no washing up. Virtual food is gentle on the digestive system and an absolute must for allergy sufferers.

Not only that, Dozy's Virtual Dinners come in full colour and are suitable for framing so that you can enjoy a nibble all day long without increasing your waste-line.

Even better, they come free with your subscription renewal to a the Square Dance Review. Order yours today and maybe get an extra one or two as Christmas gifts for your dearest friends. I'm going to give one to Lorraine.

Merry Christmas to all.
