Dancing With Dozy (or Dozy Do) started as a temporary filler for the South Pacific Square Dance Review but was so popular with readers that I kept it going for about three years.
The Review is published monthly from February to November so I wrote thirty-something columns. Some will be added to this page when I find time and some are unsuitable to use here.
Docey Do is probably the best known square dance movement so I chose it for a pseudonym. So if I was Dozy Do my wife (Lynne) became Daizy, my brother Dizzy and my friend Dodgy. Even my dog, Zoe, had her name changed to Deefer – that's Deefer Dog, of course.
I hope there's enough humour in the yarns to interest non-dancers as well as square dancers.
