I was admitted as a Notary Public (also sometimes referred to as a Public Notary) in 2002. If you have any documents which are required by some overseas organisation to be signed before a Notary Public, or you need the services of a Notary Public to attest some other facts or action, please contact me.

The most common documents I deal with are, for example, a power of attorney which needs to be sent to India, or a certified copy of a marriage certificate to be sent to South Africa. In either case, you would need to bring me the original document(s), plus a copy of say your driver's licence or passport for identification purposes. Minimum fees are $60.00 but can be higher for multiple signatures or if I have to prepare a special certificate or bind documents etc. Please not that I do not have credit card facilities for payment (so cheque or cash is required).

If you have received instructions from overseas about how any documents need to be signed, you should also bring these with you. In some instances, depending on the country involved, you may also need to take the document to the Dept. of Forein Affairs in Sydney to obtain an Apostille, or to the relevant embassy. I can help you with this and advise you where to go, but note that this is always done after you have first seen me to have the document(s) notarised.
