Anchor Recovery on Midway!

Went back to Midway reef this morning. The swells were huge,certainly bigger than the BOM suggested and were breaking all over the Long Reef boat ramp.

The vis was shocking although we were joined on the dive by a couple of cuttlefish. Kira found the anchor we lost 2 weeks ago which we were pretty happy about.

The ride in was great fun riding the swells and we were kindly helped on shore by a group of divers who had just got back from the wrecks.

Midway Reef

Made it out to Midway reef off Curl Curl today. Vis wasn't great on the way down but everything was great on the bottom. Had a friendly cuttlefish follow us for the duration. Everything is so big on this dive and you could do it over and over again without getting bored.
Unfortunately we lost another anchor.
