Neighbour Aid Volunteers assist frail aged members of the community, people with disabilities and their carers to maintain independent living with a view to helping them remain in their own homes for as long as they wish. Volunteers help with shopping and transport to essential medical and other appointments. We also provide companionship, to maintain social contact. The Neighbour Aid service is funded by Home and Community Care (HACC) programme. Eligibility criteria apply for all services.
