LOCK

To set the telephone security (set security to ON)

· Lift the handset (or press ON OFFbutton).Dial tone heard.  

· Press the LOCK button.  

· Enter a 4 digit pin number (X X X X) using the numeric keypad.  

The day / date /  time display is replaced by the word SECURITY to indicate security is set to ON.  

· Restore the handset  (or press ON-OFF button).  

I have been unable to determine the features offered when security is on, the telephone appears to operate normally, except for the day / date / time display. Does anyone have any thoughts on the Security feature?

To clear the telephone security (set security to OFF)

 · Lift the handset (or press ON-OFF button).Dial tone heard.

· Press the LOCK button.

· Enter the 4 digit pin number 0 0 0 0 using the numeric keypad.

The day / date /  time display is returned,  the telephone security is set to OFF.

· Restore the handset  (or press ON-OFF button).
