HANDSET

Using the telephone handset (handset mode) allows a more private conversation on the Touchfone Executive, you speak into the mouthpiece, and the other party is heard in the earpiece.

Whenever the handset is lifted from the handset cradle, the telephone becomes active, in handset mode.

The telephone will remain active until the handset is replaced in the cradle. The earpiece activates the telephone's cradle switch, when the handset is either lifted or replaced.
