The Touchfone Executive telephone configuration assumes the telephone has a POTS connection to the PSTN or PABX. The Touchfone Executive can not be operated or configured unless the telephone detects a line connection to it's line socket. Batteries should be Fitted, the replacing of batteries is described in Underside Functionality.
