My first entry of a sculpture into a show was in the Canberra Show 2005, where I entered the fantasy section for amateur sculptors of under two years experience. I won this category with Sarah, a genie and was also runner up for the Best doll in show. In 2007 I entered five pieces in the Canberra Show, where I won the following: Champion - Heritage Doll section with the sculpture Billy Tea 1st prize - Surf Sun and Sand, group of dolls with sculpture Mermaids at the beach Grand Champion- Doll of the Show with sculpture Saphira, Magic Carpet ride 2nd prize - Fantasy category, professional section with sculpture the Dreamweaver Tree 1st prize - Heritage Doll section 1st prize - Any half doll with sculpture/tassel Ebony 1st prize - Fantasy category, professional section Champion - Fantasy category, professional section © Copyright Terry Thomas 2007.
