If approaching from the north on the autoroute A7, take
exit number 22 just past Orange and follow signs for Carpentras and
Sarrians. At Sarrians turn left and the route is clearly marked to Beaumes
de Venise. Coming from the south on the A7, take exit number 23, Avignon
Nord, and turn right at a large roundabout after leaving the toll booths.
Then follow directions to Carpentras, but take the Sarrians exit, while
bypassing Monteux. Follow this road through Sarrians, then follow signs to
Beaumes de Venise.
The best approach for
the house is to skirt the old village, via avenue Gambetta, and then turn
left onto rue du Chateau. It is possible to drive through the heart of the
old village but the streets are narrow and it is not recommended.
