Trevor has over 25 year's experience in commercial aviation and specialises in aviation quality and safety management including SMS. He has filled the roles of pilot, instructor, quality & safety Lead Auditor, Fleet Manager, Safety Manager, Check & Training Captain, Flight Operations Manager and IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Lead Auditor. Trevor holds tertiary training qualifications and has a number of years teaching experience ranging from secondary school to university and adult vocational training. His experience is rather unique in the aviation industry as he can draw on training, IT, business management, quality management, safety management and flight operations skills and experience.
Trevor has been employed as a pilot and flown both in Australia and overseas. He has extensive experience operating turbo-prop aircraft on routes in a number of regions of Australia and the SE Pacific. During his flying career he has operated a number of aircraft types including Beech Kingairs, Embraer E110 Bandierantes, Embraer EMB120 Brasilias, DeHavilland DHC6 Twin Otters and has completed simulator training and ground school on the SAAB 340. Trevor was appointed to the role of Fleet Administration Manager in Flight Operations at Qantas Airways. Over the past 8 year's he has been auditing with the IOSA safety program and delivering airline consulting and training services. In addition, he is a qualified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and trains Lead Auditors and Internal Auditors in the aviation industry.
With over 25 years aviation industry experience including 12 years operational airline flying and management experience and 2 years corporate flying experience, Trevor is well placed to assist your aviation business.
