Well March has been fairly quiet. It has been a time to review and consolidate our training work and courses in conjunction with Southpac Aerospace.

Trevor has participated in 3 radio interviews covering Cabin Safety and has had a story on this topic published in the Courier Mail newspaper. It seems that there has been growing public interest in the reasons behind cabin safety procedures following the publishing of a newspaper article.

Trevor will be delivering a Lead Auditor training course for the military during the last week of March. Following this course he will be delivering more Lead Auditor and Internal Auditor training during April.

Trevor is considering undertaking BARS Auditor training in the near future in order to be able to participate in BARS audits.

A recent highlight was Southpac Aerospace's approval as an ISO 9001 Conformity Assessment Body (CAB). Southpac Aerospace is the ONLY CAB in Australia that specialises in Aviation Certifications and follow-up audits.

JAS-ANZ is the government-appointed accreditation body for Australia and New Zealand responsible for providing accreditation of CABs in the fields of certification and inspection. Accreditation by JAS-ANZ demonstrates the competence and independence of these CABs.

February has been a busy month. We have been busy delivering training and undertaking some consulting/auditing work.

Trevor has completed an Aviation Expert Witness workshop with AvLaw and is now registered in their database as an Aviation Expert Witness.

Trevor has been interviewed twice this month by the media in relation to aviation safety regarding passengers and cabin crew procedures. The article appeared in the Sydney Morning herald. A live radio interview followed on 4BC.

Happy New Year 2012

Well a very Happy New Year for 2012. We hope it is a happy, healthy and prosperous one for you.

This year promises to be both exciting and challenging. Higher fuel prices will see the aviation industry competing strongly.

We start this year by attending an Aviation Expert Witness training workshop in Sydney. This will be a most interesting course with additional skills to be learned. I am looking forward to this training very much.

Merry Christmas

2011 has been a busy year. We have been very busy with a number of training courses for auditors and witha number of operational audits.

I have finally dropped Microsoft in favour of Apple. I acquired a MacBook Air in October and then purchased an iMac in November. This is a whole new world. Everything is fast and easy on the Mac's. I believe that my old Windows XP computer has become possessed! It is so slow and clunky after the Mac's. As they say "once you've had Mac you never go back".

Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year to everyone who reads this blog. 2012 looks like another busy year. Safe Flying and Blue Skies.
