Tregear

The New Tregear Blog!

Tregear is in Blacktown council in the western suburbs of Sydney. The borders are Forrester Rd, Hatherton Rd, Luxford Rd, cut across a corner and cross Aurora Drv, to Wilkes Cres, Debrincat Ave and along Ropes Creek back to Forrester. It's a mostly Houso suburb, on old farmland.

Most of the info on these pages comes straight from the net. Who knew that Tregear had such a strong net presence? A rather strange net presence to be sure, but still a strong one. It seems that a good proportion of Sydney does know we exist!

My aim is to pull together as much information about Tregear as I can find, even if it is so ephemeral as to not usually warrant listing it by itself. Pulling together all the tiny bits of information about this suburb gives a surprisingly full, if quirky, picture of a small poor suburb with not much in it.

If anyone has links they would like to send me the only consideration, besides whether it offends me or not, is that the info has to be identifiably about Tregear or Tregear people, or be a webpage created by a Tregear person for the links from Tregear page.
